Women Only Class

This ninety (90) minute class is just for women and holds over three weeks. 

During the classes, we will cover: 

Week One

  • Living healthy in pregnancy 
  • Exercising in pregnancy
  • Your birth thoughts 
  • Preparing for hospital stay 

Week Two

  • Prepare for labour and delivery. 
  • Signs of labour 
  • Induction of labour, spontaneous labour and elective Cesarean Sections. 
  • What happens in labour 
  • Breathing techniques 
  • Pain relief options 
  • Birthing positions 
  • Vaginal birth, tears and episiotomy. 

Week Three 

  • Adjusting to life with a newborn baby 
  • Breastfeeding and infant feeding 
  • Caring for your newborn baby 
  • Your postnatal recovery 

Maximum 10 women per class
